Basketball Game Preview: Culver Academies Eagles vs. Michigan City Wolves

Having just played yesterday, the Culver Academies Eagles will get right back to it and host the Michigan City Wolves at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Michigan City took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Culver Academies, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, Culver Academies didn't have too much trouble with Twin Lakes as they won 54-36. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Indians are ranked 288th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Michigan City played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Valparaiso, falling 68-29. The loss continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost six in a row.

Culver Academies' win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Michigan City, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Culver Academies strolled past Michigan City when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a score of 59-40. Does Culver Academies have another victory up their sleeve, or will Michigan City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
