Bedford came tearing into Saturday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Ida Bluestreaks by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Bedford never let Ida on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22.

Lucy Monahan paced Bedford's offense, picking up 14 kills. Monahan got some help from Olivia Eby and her 17 assists.

Bedford's victory bumped their record up to 28-13. As for Ida, the defeat snapped their winning streak at ten matches and leaves them with a 17-19-1 record.

Bedford has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lenawee Christian on the 1st. As for Ida, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against St. Mary Catholic Central on the 1st.
