Purvis came tearing into Saturday's game with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Poplarville Hornets. That's more bragging rights for the Tornadoes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Madyson Easley paced Purvis' offense, picking up eight kills. Easley got some help from Presley Long and her 22 assists. Long was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
