Football Recap: Osceola Kowboys vs. Lakewood Spartans
Osceola was the 28-22 winner over Lakewood when they last played one another back in November of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kowboys fell 28-18 to the Spartans on Friday. The Kowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Osceola still got an impressive performance from Jeffrey Sinophat, who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of TDs. Sinophat's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards.
Even if they lost, Osceola's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Lakewood's QB won't forget Amier Clarke anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Colton Carter was another major factor on D, making eight total tackles (3.0 for loss) and snagged an interception.
Lakewood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ayden Wallace out in front who threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes. A healthy portion of Wallace's aerial production (95 yards to be exact) went to Dmari Roberts, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
Osceola's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Lakewood, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
Osceola and Lakewood will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Kowboys see the field they'll take on Durant at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. As for Lakewood, their break will end when they face Somerset Academy - Canyons at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
