Basketball Recap: Manchester Find Success

Manchester won the last time they faced Tuslaw and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Manchester Panthers escaped with a win against the Tuslaw Mustangs by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 603rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Manchester's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Tuslaw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manchester will take on Orrville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Orrville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Tuslaw, they will square off against Canton South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
