Valley Union is 0-3 against Ray since December of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
While Blue Devils fans will have to keep waiting for their squad to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Thursday's season opener. They took down San Miguel 58-44 last Thursday.
Meanwhile, Ray made easy work of Salome last Friday and carried off a 51-30 win. The Bearcats pushed the score to 46-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Frogs cut but never quite recovered from.
Ray's win came from a few key players Valley Union will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Logan Rice, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Wade, who went 6-for-14 en route to 14 points and three steals.
Valley Union was taken down by Ray 54-19 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Blue Devils were down 33-7.
