Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Macy Sinden and Lilie Vandenburg Lead Concord to Victory

Concord came into Wednesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Hudson Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday. The contest marked the Yellowjackets' most dominant win of the season so far.

Leading Concord to victory were Lilie Vandenburg and Macy Sinden. Vandenburg had six digs and three aces, while Sinden had five digs and one assist. Avery Arbuckle also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Concord was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They are 3-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

The victory got Concord back to even at 4-4-1. As for Hudson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Concord will head out to face off against Union City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hudson, they will welcome Blissfield at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
