Football Game Preview: Kent Island Buccaneers vs. Wicomico Indians + How To Watch

Kent Island is 8-2 against Wicomico since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Buccaneers will welcome the Indians at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kent Island comes in on three and Wicomico on six.

While Kent Island's victory against Parkside wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Buccaneers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 36-33 win over the Rams on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Buccaneers have posted since October 25, 2024.

Jaxson Hess was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 147 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wicomico). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat North Caroline 50-7. Considering the Indians have won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Wicomico's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Kent Island, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Kent Island couldn't quite get it done against Wicomico in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 21-13. Thankfully for the Buccaneers, Aidan Farmer (who rushed for 174 yards and one TD on only 13 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
