Padua Franciscan is 3-0 against Aurora since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The two teams will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Padua Franciscan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Padua Franciscan is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Holy Name: they outscored them in every quarter. Padua Franciscan was the clear victor by an 86-66 margin over Holy Name on Friday. The Bruins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Aurora was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-42 heartbreaker at the hands of Streetsboro. While losing is never fun, the Greenmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 544th, while the Rockets are ranked 142nd).

Padua Franciscan's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Aurora, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Padua Franciscan strolled past Aurora in their previous matchup back in January of 2017 by a score of 60-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Padua Franciscan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
