Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Regan Kahrs and Madilynn Trambly Lead Franklin to Victory

Franklin hadn't done well against Wilcox-Hildreth recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Flyers blew past the Falcons 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Flyers this season.

Franklin never let Wilcox-Hildreth on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 28-26.

Franklin was led to victory by Madilynn Trambly and Regan Kahrs. Trambly had 28 assists and seven digs, while Kahrs had ten digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Kahrs a new career-high.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.

Looking ahead, Franklin will head out to face off against Blue Hill at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bertrand.
