Volleyball Recap: Seeger's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a good run, but Seeger unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wabash Apaches. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Apaches apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15.

Chase Lemming paced Seeger's offense, picking up 14 kills. Lemming got some help from Emilee Neubauer and her 14 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Amaya Sellers, who had ten digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last four matches.

Seeger's loss dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Wabash, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Seeger and Wabash will both be playing Parke Heritage the next time they take the court. The Apaches will head out to face the Wolves at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Patriots will play them later in the day, at 2:30 p.m.
