Soccer Recap: Eagle Point Takes a Loss

Eagle Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Eugene Highlanders.

Eagle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6-2. As for North Eugene, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6-2.

Coincidentally, Eagle Point and North Eugene will both be playing Springfield the next time they take the pitch. The Highlanders will host the Millers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on the 18th.
