Soccer Game Preview: Manual vs. Peoria Christian

The Manual Rams will head out to square off against the Peoria Christian Chargers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manual's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Manual's offense. They lost 5-0 to Danville on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Manual have lost by exactly five goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Peoria Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on April 7th. Their defense stepped up to hand Urbana University a 2-0 shutout last Monday.

Violet Hynek and KhloeAnn Oswald scored both of Peoria Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Peoria Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Manual, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
