The result was an unpleasant reminder to South Albany of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

South Albany's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Woodburn, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4-2 record this season.
