Volleyball Recap: West Springfield Takes a Loss + How To Watch

West Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Turners Falls Thunder, falling 3-0. The Terriers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

While West Springfield was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 25-17.

West Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Turners Falls, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Springfield will host Commerce at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Turners Falls, they will challenge Pioneer Valley Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
