Football Game Preview: Lexington Senior Yellowjackets vs. High Point Central Bison + How To Watch

The Lexington Senior Yellowjackets will take on the High Point Central Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. High Point Central took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lexington Senior, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Lexington Senior turned things around against Montgomery Central on Friday. They walked away with a 21-13 win over the Timberwolves.

A big part of Lexington Senior's victory came down to the chemistry between Jaiden Summers and his top target Kamari McDonald. Summers threw for 232 yards and two TDs while McDonald picked up 131 receiving yards and a pair of scores. McDonald has become a key player for Lexington Senior: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 receiving yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for High Point Central's offense. They were beaten by Randleman 42-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bison can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 389th, while the Tigers are ranked 149th).

High Point Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lexington Senior, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-4.
