Soccer Recap: Fremont Has No Trouble Against Narbonne

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fremont). Everything went their way against the Narbonne Gauchos on Friday as they made off with a 4-1 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Fremont with their most commanding win of the season.

They hit Narbonne with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Faber Jeronimo (2), Esmir Vargas, and Victor Leandro.

The victory (which was Fremont's third in a row) raised their record to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Narbonne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2-2.

Looking ahead, Fremont will challenge Port of Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Narbonne, they will take on Birmingham at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Narbonne will need to watch out since Birmingham have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches.
