Basketball Recap: Holy Family Starts off Right with Win over Colorado Academy + How To Watch

Holy Family had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Colorado Academy Mustangs 60-19 on Friday. With the Tigers ahead 37-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Caleb Schott had an outrageously good game as he shot 69% from the field on his way to 22 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The last time his shooting accuracy was this high was back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Evans, who posted 11 points in addition to six assists and six steals.

Holy Family was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Colorado Academy only posted four.

Colorado Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Holy Family will take on DSST: Montview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Colorado Academy, they will head out to square off against DSST: Green Valley Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
