Volleyball Recap: Dorchester Wins Going Away Against Nebraska Lutheran

Dorchester had lost three straight, but after bumping their record up to 13-16 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Nebraska Lutheran Knights as they made off with a 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Longhorns have posted against the Knights since September 13, 2022.

Dorchester can attribute much of their success to Savannah June, who had 27 assists and nine digs. That's the most assists June has posted over her last seven matchups.

As for Nebraska Lutheran, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-19. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered against Dorchester since September 13, 2022.

Nebraska Lutheran's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Taelyn Williamson, who had nine digs and one assist.

Dorchester didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley on the 27th. Nebraska Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
