Football Recap: Valley Piles Up the Points Against Holtville

Valley had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 32-point drubbing they dealt Holtville on Friday. The Rams claimed a resounding 46-14 victory over the Bulldogs. With the Rams ahead 31-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Caden Foreman was his usual excellent self, throwing for 233 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Those five passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Aaden Johnson was Foreman's top target, picking up 102 receiving yards and one score.

The win (which was Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.0 points over those games. As for Holtville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
