Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Seabreeze

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Seabreeze had no problem doing just that on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pine Ridge Panthers. That's the fifth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Monday.

While Seabreeze won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-17.

Carley Bandell paced Seabreeze's offense, picking up 11 kills. Bandell got some help from Olivia Chase and her 14 assists. Victoria Kenyon-Gonzalez and Brianna Dicks kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Seabreeze, bringing their record up to 15-10. As for Pine Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season.

Seabreeze will take on Innovation at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pine Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
