Pueblo came into Thursday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Desert View Jaguars by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Pueblo had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-19, 25-14, 25-18.

Isabella Carillo paced Pueblo's offense, picking up 16 kills. Carillo got some help from Anette Urquijo and her 22 assists. Carillo was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Pueblo's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Desert View, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.
