Basketball Recap: Fort Dorchester Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Fort Dorchester not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 28th (when they won 69-45). They were the clear victors by a 71-47 margin over the Timberland Wolves. The Patriots pushed the score to 58-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wolves cut but never quite recovered from.

Fort Dorchester had a senior duo take command as Tyquez Jenkins dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds and Maricious Dawson almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of DeOndre Haynes, who posted nine points.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Fort Dorchester will take on Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Timberland, they will square off against Cross at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
