University School's Andrew Dorogi recorded the longest rushing play in Premier this season in his game against Lakeside last week. Dorogi scampered for 55 yards on the play and finished with 307 on the day as his team bested the Dragons.
South extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Chardon, 35-14. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
University School's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. John Gannon threw for 120 and two touchdowns and Luke Vadas had 90 yards receiving. Curtis Black helped University School's passing attack out by catching four balls for 27 yards.
University School's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Preppers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Gannon has thrown for 725 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Vadas has 46 catches for 644 yards. Dorogi leads the league in rushing with 332 yards.
A big matchup in Premier this week will be when Madison takes on South. The Blue Streaks are in fourth place, while Matt Duffy's team is in first place.
Eric Rinehart's team moved up to 390 from 417 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Preppers were able to make the jump by beating Lakeside 28-6.
