Football Game Preview: Interlachen Rams vs. Clewiston Tigers

The Interlachen Rams will square off against the Clewiston Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Interlachen has given up an average of 31.9 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Interlachen is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bronson 74-36. The Rams' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Interlachen found their leader in freshman DJ McKinnon, who threw for 229 yards and six touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 50 yards. Lawrence Sharp did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 40 receiving yards.

Interlachen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 234 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Clewiston played against Atlantic on Thursday and won via forfeit.

Clewiston's record is now 3-7. As for Interlachen, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.
