Volleyball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Word of God Academy Force.

Word of God Academy found their leader in sophomore Kallie Pizarro, who had 12 digs and three aces. Pizarro is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Word of God Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian will venture away from home to challenge Arkansas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Word of God Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Garland County Athletes for Christ Home School on the 20th.
