Soccer Game Preview: West Branch vs. Field

West Branch is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Field is on a six-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Warriors will be taking part in a tournament against the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

West Branch's tournament run continued when they took on Orrville on Saturday. The Warriors blew past the Red Riders 5-1. Given West Branch's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Orrville are ranked 329th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Field made easy work of Fairview on Wednesday and carried off a 4-1 win. Field better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Ethan Flores-Soler, as he scored every single goal for his team.

West Branch's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Field, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.
