Baseball Recap: Stanton Has No Trouble Against Eagle's View

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Stanton brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Eagle's View Warriors on Friday. The Blue Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Ethan Abram and Brooks Jarrett did most of the damage at the plate: Abram got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Jarrett went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Jarrett has posted since back in February of 2025. Ethan Hafer was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run.

Stanton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eagle's View only posted an OBP of .292.

The victory snapped Stanton's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-9 record. As for Eagle's View, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Stanton will head out to face off against Wolfson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolfpack have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season. As for Eagle's View, they will face off against Parsons Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
