Volleyball Recap: Curie Takes a Loss

Curie was the 2-0 winner over Little Village when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Condors fell just short of the Phoenix by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. While the Condors didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Phoenix 25-0 in the first set.

Curie was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Little Village work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 0-25, 25-0, 26-24.

Curie dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Little Village, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Curie is set to face off against their familiar foe Brooks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Little Village will take on rival Morgan Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
