Soccer Recap: Friday's Victory Is East Central's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

East Central kept a clean sheet against Gautier on Friday. They came out on top against the Gautier Gators by a score of 2-0. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Gators walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

East Central is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those eight contests. As for Gautier, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2-1.

East Central wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Vancleave on the 17th. Gautier has also already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Wayne County on the 17th.
