The matchup between Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial and RHAM on Wednesday hardly resembled the 23-0 effort from their previous meeting. Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial strolled past RHAM with points to spare, taking the game 46-28. Riddick Burroughs was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 148 yards and three scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 178 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes. He has become a key player for Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-5 otherwise. Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial's leading receiver Joey Gignac was Burroughs' top target yet again, picking up 166 receiving yards and three TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bacon Academy/Lyman Memorial was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 278 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
