Volleyball Recap: Emerie White's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Grady over Loop + How To Watch

Grady lost against Loop back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Longhorns. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Grady started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-7, 25-17, 25-9.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emerie White, who had four blocks and two aces. With that strong performance, White is now averaging an impressive 2.5 blocks per game.

Grady now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Loop, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.

Grady didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Klondike on the 7th. As for Loop, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Wilson on the 7th.
