Burroughs (Ridgecrest, Calif.) 25-13.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Warriors were up 12-7 at the half.
Tehachapi grew its lead to 11 points entering the fourth quarter. THS's lone score in the quarter came on a
Skylar Valencia touchdown run.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Warriors came away with a 33-20 victory.
The win was a nice bounce back for Tehachapi, which lost to Exeter last week, 17-7.
Tehachapi (1-1) will play a non-conference game against Liberty next week, while Burroughs (0-2) will take on Antelope Valley also in a non-conference game.
