Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin). They were the clear victor by an 84-63 margin over the Sylmar Spartans on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly 21 points.

Despite the loss, Sylmar still got an impressive performance from Alex Reyes, who went 7 of 13 on his way to 20 points. What's more, Reyes also racked up two steals, the most he's had since back in January of 2024. David Rodriguez was another key player, going 6 for 11 on his way to 14 points.

The win made it two in a row for Franklin and bumps their season record up to 3-6. As for Sylmar, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Franklin has already played their next matchup, a 52-48 defeat against University on the 3rd. As for Sylmar, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-61 victory against Monroe on the 3rd.
