Basketball Game Preview: South Plantation Paladins vs. Pine Crest Panthers

The South Plantation Paladins will face off against the Pine Crest Panthers at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. South Plantation has given up an average of 66 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South Plantation is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Monday. They took a hard 64-47 fall against Chaminade-Madonna. While the Paladins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 11-7 in the first quarter.

South Plantation's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Gabe Collier, who posted 16 points, and Aiden Davis, who had ten points and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, Collier now owns an excellent 43.5% three-point shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Hamilton, who put up six points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pine Crest, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They blew past Sports Leadership & Management 86-27 on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Pandas recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

South Plantation's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Pine Crest, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
