Football Recap: Monte Vista Keeps Center's Under Pressure + How To Watch

If Center wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Monte Vista, they should've done a better job of containing Manny Jiron. The Pirates simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Vikings 55-0 for which the team can thank Jiron, who threw for 58 yards and two TDs. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Monte Vista's defense and their four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.
