Nativity BVM posted their biggest win yet this season on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Minersville as Nativity BVM made off with a 71-45 win.
Nativity BVM relied on the efforts of Noah Dolbin, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, and Trey Keating, who scored 28 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Keating is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. Mike Quirk was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional came up short against Marian Catholic on Wednesday and fell 50-39. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional in their matchups with Marian Catholic: they've now lost five in a row.
Nativity BVM pushed their record up to 8-6 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Nativity BVM against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 68-37 victory. With Nativity BVM ahead 41-21 at the half, the match was all but over already.
