Basketball Game Preview: Berkeley Prep Buccaneers vs. Seffner Christian Crusaders

The Berkeley Prep Buccaneers and the Seffner Christian Crusaders will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Berkeley Prep will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Berkeley Prep will bounce into Saturday's game after beating Academy of the Holy Names, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Buccaneers snuck past the Jaguars with a 43-39 win on Friday. While the Buccaneers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Seffner Christian didn't have too much trouble with Bayshore Christian on Friday as they won 37-23. The 37-point effort marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Seffner Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Berkeley Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 4-0.
