Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask State Line Christian). They were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Monclova Christian Academy Thunder on Thursday. With that victory, State Line Christian brought their scoring average up to 2.9 goals per game.

State Line Christian pushed their record up to 6-3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Monclova Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. State Line Christian will challenge Faith Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
