Basketball Recap: Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Comes Up Short on the Road Against Oakland-Craig

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 58-29 loss at the hands of the Oakland-Craig Knights. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-8.

Sonya Guzinski was the offensive standout of the matchup as she shot 67% from the field en route to 19 points. Briar Ray was another key player, going 6-for-11 on her way to 13 points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder will face off against Aquinas at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oakland-Craig, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Clarkson/Leigh at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
