Soccer Recap: Queen's Grant Takes Down Avery County in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Queen's Grant had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Avery County Vikings get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. Queen's Grant's offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

They hit Avery County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ian Viana (2), Freddy Villelas (2), Jonathan Padgett, and Bruno Trujilo.

Queen's Grant's victory bumped their record up to 9-13-1. As for Avery County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-20.

As of now, neither Queen's Grant nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
