Volleyball Recap: South Shore Vo-Tech's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

It was a good run, but South Shore Vo-Tech unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-match winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Carver Crusaders, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Vikings couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-20, 25-16.

Julia Da Silva paced South Shore Vo-Tech's offense, picking up ten kills. Da Silva got some help from Fenway Valiente and her 12 assists. Valiente was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

South Shore Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Carver, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

South Shore Vo-Tech has already played their next matchup (against Bristol County Agricultural), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Carver does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
