Basketball Game Preview: Rock County Christian Eagles vs. Waukesha Christian Academy Warriors

Rock County Christian is a perfect 7-0 against Waukesha Christian Academy since February of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will welcome the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Rock County Christian's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Waukesha Christian Academy has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

Rock County Christian proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 44) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Christian Life 69-67.

Rock County Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Derek Quinn out in front who dropped a double-double with 34 points and 12 boards. Quinn's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 23 points. Gideon Ukwuoji was another key player, dropping a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Waukesha Christian Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 70-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oakhill Christian on Tuesday.

Rock County Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Waukesha Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything came up roses for Rock County Christian against Waukesha Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February, as the team secured a 73-39 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
