Florin won the last time they faced Valley and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Florin walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-19.

Diane Iakopo paced Florin's offense, picking up 12 kills. Iakopo got some help from Clairedy Lo and her seven assists. Lilly Vue controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Florin's victory bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Florin will face off against rival West Campus at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Valley is set to square off against their familiar foe Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
