Volleyball Game Preview: Boca Raton Bobcats vs. Wellington Wolverines

The Boca Raton Bobcats will square off against the Wellington Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boca Raton will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Boca Raton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over West Boca Raton.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Wellington hadn't done well against Park Vista recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Wolverines came out on top against the Cobras by a score of 3-1. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Cobras recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Wellington might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Park Vista scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 24-26, 25-23.

The victory got Wellington back to even at 14-14. As for Boca Raton, they pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Boca Raton took their victory against Wellington when the teams last played back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
