Volleyball Recap: Blue Earth Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Blue Earth, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against the Maple River Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 28-26, 25-19, 12-25, 25-17.

Blue Earth can attribute much of their success to Marissa Wright, who had 12 digs and two aces. Those 12 digs gave Wright a new career-high.

Blue Earth's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Maple River, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Blue Earth will square off against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Maple River, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against St. Clair on the 4th.
