League recap: Cedar Park Christian runs winning streak to 11

Cedar Park Christian (12-2, 6-2) is red-hot, having won 11 straight games, the longest such streak in 1A Emerald City. Four of those wins came in the past week, includinga 16-6 win over Bush.

Bellevue Christian made the biggest jump in the national rankings, moving from 141 to 136 thanks to a 2-2 record over the past week.

Overlake/Bear Creek boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. The Owls have given up a mere 62 hits on the year in addition to compiling 85 strikeouts. Michael Andrea is the leader in that category with 33 Ks on the season.
