Soccer Recap: Valdosta Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Valdosta took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Camden County. Valdosta hasn't had much luck with Camden County recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Valdosta's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Camden County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valdosta will head out to take on Tift County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Camden County, they will venture away from home to face off against Frederica Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Camden County is facing Frederica Academy at the right time seeing as Frederica Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
