Basketball Recap: Leigh Skates Past Ann Sobrato with Ease

Leigh won the last time they faced Ann Sobrato and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Leigh Longhorns took their game with ease, bagging a 63-36 win over the Ann Sobrato Bulldogs. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Longhorns had established a 22 point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Leigh to victory, but perhaps none more so than Catalina Williams, who posted 17 points and six rebounds. Abigail White was another key player, putting up ten points and eight boards.

Leigh was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Leigh has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points over those games. As for Ann Sobrato, they dropped their record down to 7-15 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
