Volleyball Recap: Kerman Victorious

Kerman's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Caruthers Blue Raiders.

While Kerman might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Caruthers scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 18-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Caruthers still got an impressive performance from Juan Ruiz Sanches, who had 12 digs.

The victory got Kerman back to even at 1-1. As for Caruthers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Coming up, Kerman will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Washington Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give the Lions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Caruthers, they will welcome Minarets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
